Game 73 (#2): Stop Taking Out New(Almost) People (Trial #2)

You guys heard the siren and head towards the Yard and into the Wall. 
This time the podium had four stands one for Luciel, Shalltear and newest addition Fujimori and Katie.
You lot then walk on to the podium. 
This time on the seat looking at you lot is not Tetsu anymore. It is the figure clad in the red hood and metal mask there (Image is at attachment).

"Well isn't this exciting! This time we have two dead! You lot are taking this seriously aren't you! Well let's raise the stake shall we. If you get the culprit wrong this wrong, two of you won't get to the sunrise tomorrow! How is it? Fun right! Now shall we begin!" The Figure said gleefully

Terezi stood at her podium with her arms crossed and an annoyed expression on her face. She sighed and played with a small piece of her hair that was burnt. Honestly, now looking at her, she appeared to be pretty beaten up.

She sighed.
"Alright, I guess it's really here...I want no slackers this time whatsoever. I, myself, will not slack off either. We're winning this trial. I know it. We just need to go over what we've gathered first, so let's start with alibi's and investigations."

She crossed her arms once more and stood in a leader-like pose.
"For my investigations, I sadly didn't find much. There was a knife and a frying pan in the altar. It felt like there were a couple of droplets of blood on the knife. In the pool area, there was an incredibly heavy smell of vinegar coming from the pool.

As for my alibi, I spent most of my night in the kitchen. It went like this:

0/1/2/3/4 - So, because of that gas, I had woken up to find myself in the kitchen. Obviously, I was curious to know how I got there so I looked around for clues. During my time of investigating, I smelt something that was similar to gas and heard someone trying to lift something heavy. I then heard a scuffling sound heading out of the kitchen. Then, I heard more footsteps enter inside. I assume most of you didn't care about how you ended up where you ended up and left me to do all the hard labor. Thaaanks.
Ahem, anyways, I couldn't find anything suspicious. I felt someone come near me, and then a loud smash and a girl yelling 'sick prick' and felt their vibrations leave the kitchen. Then I heard a different girl yelling 'A nasty low life murderer' and a boy threatening someone. I assumed that Dr. Schnabel was in the kitchen, so as punishment for doing something as horrible as murder, I sniffed him out and hit him really hard on the head with my cane."

Terezi looked in Dr. Schnabel's direction, sending him a murderous glare.

"This is when my night went to absolute hell. All thanks to him.

Once I hit him with my cane, he made this creepy sexual noise. I didn't pay much attention to it and started walk out, planning on how to do even worse to him later. But before I could get out completely, I felt someone grab my hand and I fell on the floor. I couldn't move or anything! I then felt someone touch my face in a really creepy way and they whispered 'nobody messes with Schnabel.' After that, I blacked out. I didn't wake up until action 5.
5/6 - When I woke up, I could smell burnt hair, which was obviously mine, and my hands stung. I licked it. Blood. I don't know what that f***er did to me but it's enough for him to end on my f***ing blacklist. I shouted for him and threatened him, but I got no reply. As I was walking out of the kitchen, something warm splashed onto me. At this point, murder seems like an okay option. I walked into the dining hall and felt and heard glass crunch underneath me. I don't know what the hell happened in there but jesus christ you guys.
Anyways, I walked to the altar. That's when I heard someone yelling 'Everyone! Help!' Naturally, I followed it inside the alter to figure out what was going on. I was listening for the voice to call out again, and they shouted 'How could you do this?! You monster!' by the time I got close to it, I didn't hear anything. I assumed that it was just some prank so I went back to my dorm room and fell asleep.

And that's my entire night."

The entire time, she kept her death glare on Dr. Schnabel. She was obviously not happy.

[Misaki]

"Alright. So my investigations didn't wield anything useful unfortunately so ill just go ahead and state my alibi."



"I started from the Trash Room after my so called execution then found my way out and headed for the Altar. Along the way I saw a person I couldn't recognize pass by the hall. When I reached the Altar, I saw Akise there looking around and Hiyoko also entered. I looked around as well and found some weird books and a mask. When I examined the mask, it looked like one of the masks the Shin twins were wearing so I assume the figure I saw earlier was probably one of them. I then saw Akise run out of Altar and I was also about to leave as well until suddenly Hiyoko tried to throw a candlestick at me. I managed to dodge it and escape the room. When I got out the room, I saw Akise get knocked out by an unrecognizable figure so I quickly hid behind the Incinerator wall and waited until it was all clear. I then saw Michael heading into the Altar and I tried to gesture him not to enter but he ignored me. Once the coast was clear, I headed for the Dinning Room and along the way I saw another unrecognizable figure pass by the ground floor hallway. I reached the Dinning Room and looked around but then suddenly I saw the unrecognizable figure who I assume is one of the Shin twins run towards me and tried to stab me with a knife. I narrowly dodged it then I grabbed a glass and threw it at my attacker as I escaped to the Kitchen."

"When I entered the kitchen, I saw Dr. Schnabel trying to burn Terezi's hair on a stove and I also saw Kaeda enter as well. Seeing this as an opportunity to get some payback for what happened in the last trial, I grabbed a frying pan and knocked out Schnabel with it and at the same time I heard Terezi yelling Schnabel before running out the room. I then stuffed the upper half of Schnabel's body's into the oven then switched it on to burn him then I proceeded to smack his a** repeatedly with the frying pan and while I was doing so, I also saw Michael enter the kitchen with an awkward look on his face then shortly left. Once I was satisfied with what I done, I left Schnabel alone in the Kitchen and went back to my room."

[Hosh]

"That's too much info! I can't keep up like this, y'know."


"I'll just tell you slowpokes the important stuff! I won't be done 'till tomorrow morning if you want me to tell you all the details."


"Katie's body was totally disgusting. Her body was burned badly, her eyes were white and her mouth was opened. It's easy to tell she died a terrible, painful, horrifying death.

Also, when I was at the Altar, an unrecognizable person came in, and when I came back some time later, the person was fighting tons of people! They all left though, and Katie started tying the hands of the unknown person, which means she was the last one to be in there with them! Apparently, Katie was still alive during the very very last minutes of the night when we left her there."

[Squidzz]

"I checked fuji's body for my investigation, she was lying in her bed, there was a bottle labelled cyanide in her right hand, there was also residue of tears on her face, and her mouth had been burned a little from the poison, it is highly likely she committed suicide.
"


"As for the night, firstly i went looking around the kitchen for any clues on the gold, i stayed there for a bit to threaten that bastard doctor, and drink a cup of tea. Next i left for the altar, i saw an unrecognisable figure and hiyoko, i decided to try and see what was happening, then hiyoko ran out, the figure approached me and knocked me out, i couldn't move for a whole portion of the night. When i woke, the figure was wrestling katie, his leg was bleeding, i ran out as quickly as possible and returned to the kitchen... I have a feeling that mysterious figure was katie's killer.
"


"I'm sure that fuji committed suicide, as she had drank the cyanide and her dorm room was locked."

"From what I've heard of everyone else it appears as though the killer was incredibly bold, they thought that because we couldn't see them they were invincible so they attacked a ton of people, and ended up killing katie at the end of the night because everyone else had run away.
from what i hear the shin's masks were trashed and there were 2 figures we couldn't see..."

Michael shoots a furious glare at the "sh*t twins"

"What the f*ck do you little sh*ts have to say for yourselves?"

[Lunar]

"So, you all request my alibi? Fine, that's alright with me. I prefer the standardized way of doing things around here, anyways.

1- I left from the incinerator room to the altar. I saw a mysterious, unrecognizable figure leave the room. Then, I saw Eva and Hiyoko enter.

2- I tried to chase after the figure. I couldn't catch up to him, but as I was roaming in the hallways, where he was, I saw Tawny enter the chemistry lab.

3/4- Because I couldn't see the figure, I began to search in the basement. But, as I began to do so, I was struck in the head with a blunt object, which knocked me unconscious.

5- I stirred around the basement, and heard yelling from the altar. I ran towards it, seeing Hiyoko outside the door. Katie was subduing the figure, whilst Izumiko and Terezi were in the altar.

6- I backed out of the room, while following Izumiko and saw Hiyoko outside of the altar. Yotsuya was beside me, leaving the altar. I saw Izumiko enter the infirmary, as I then went to my bedroom to sleep."



"As for my investigations, I'm sure you all know I did an in-depth look on the body of Katie. Her body was burned very badly and her eyes were full on white. Her body was tied with an ingot on her back. From this, we can assume she suffered. I noticed a small mark on her arm as well, as well as corrosion over the whole body and clothes. The clothes even began to corrode in front of me while I investigated! Lastly, I saw pieces of rope on the body, but the rest were missing. I, personally infer that the rope was obviously used to tie the ingot to her back."



"After hearing what Michael had to say, I'm going to agree with his theory regarding Fujimori's suicide. Cyanide is a poison - which is not typically used for suicide, but there have been recorded cases. It is difficult to pull off, according to the National Suicide Prevention Center that my team works with, but you can do it. If tear residue was left on her face, she was probably struggling with something emotionally. The only thing is, why did she do it? We can't truly confirm a suicide unless we have a reasoning. Though, I guess the evidence is compelling enough..."

[Vocalo_Cain]

"Well, We're not sure if we can confirm its suicide or murder for Fuji... I saw her enter the dorm and Izumiko enter her own dorm as well. Fuji didnt had the poison I last saw her."

[Vinny]

Manshin struck a pose in his vigilante costume.

"I must divulge information, so that you do not impede the way of Justice! ((0)) After we were all incapacitated at the start of the night, I wound up in the Male Bathroom. ((1)) I then headed to the Kitchen, where most of our group was gathered, including both victims. The cursed murderer-doctor began throwing a table, while Michael looked around, and under the cover of chaos, I drew the Pan of Justice from the armory they call, "the Cabinet." ((2)) Tawny justly assaulted the evil doctor and ran out, Katie threw flour into the fire, Michael grabbed a cup, et cetera, while I departed to the Dining Hall and Kayayade left the Living Hall. ((3)) I left the Dining Hall and passed by my comrade Hashin in the hallway. I went down the stairs to the basement and found Akise with his back facing me. I thought, "Hey, you must be an evildoer!" and proceeded to whack him into unconsciousness. I entered the Altar room, witnessing Hiyoko already inside, and Michael joined us soon after. ((4)) Hiyoko, (poor, scared child), dashed out the door after seeing me. Knowing fully that Michael was a bad man, I brought down the Pan of Justice onto his face, putting him to a forced rest. Katie entered after I succeeded. ((5)) In order to protect our now departed friend, (god bless her soul), I attempted to lure her to sleep with the cold, iron Pan of Justice... but then she stabbed my leg and tried to take down my vigilante self! As we struggled, someone I couldn't identify entered, (though it definitely wasn't my brother), then Izumiko, then Terezi. ((6)) Taking our old friend's challenge, (rest her soul), I pushed her off with my amazing vigilante strength and gave her a good slap with the Pan of Justice, which worked well in numbing her senses. Immediately after, I engaged in a tactical retreat and escaped. I found my brother in the hallway on the next floor and we both went back to our respective rooms. As us comrades were on our way, we witnessed Izumiko leaving the Infirmary to her own dorm. And that was the end of the night for my heroic self. Any burning questions?"

He then high-fived his twin enthusiastically.

Tawny crossed her arms tighter across her chest, looking uncomfortable at being put in this situation again.
"This is bloody ridiculous, I bet my pups are missing me... But hey, the sooner we solve this the better. I guess i'll start with what I found. So, I in-depthed Fujimori's dorm, the girl was lying in her bed grasping something in her hand, the sheets had been moved or messed with. Under further investigation I found a duffel bag with a syringe, insulated tape, an empty container and a screwdriver, as well as welding gear. I had further investigated the locks and found they were regular locks, like those in a household which you turn the knob to lock, and had not been meddled with."

She brushed some hair from her face and clicked her tongue, clasping both her hands together as she recounted her nights activities.

"Admidst the dark situation we had been placed in, I tried to make sense of things, but got lost during my nightly activities in the thrill of tea... I first woke up in the female bathroom, and then from there for my first action I made my way to the kitchen and made sugary Mocha tea. The people I saw during this are as followed: I saw a person who's face I didn't recognize come out of the male bathroom, everybody but Yotsuya, Eva, Kaede, Akise and Hiyoko were there. The doctor was throwing the table at the stove.

From there I decided that this couldn't get away with the stuff he's done, and so... I skulled half my tea- I saw the doctor heading towards Terezi and, as you do, smashed the rest of my tea, along with my teacup, on his head! I then proceeded to knee him in the face, cuss him out, grabbed a heap of teabags and ran off to the chemistry lab, where I found Yotsuya.

From there I did some sub-standard tea experiments with chemicals, chucked on a mask and all! I got to change its colour but Yotsuya was kinda staring at me, and by now you guys know i'm kinda a paranoid person so, uh... For my next action I threw one of my tea beakers at him and ran out the lab, kinda almost bumped into Hiyoko in my fleeting attempt to get away. I ended up back where I started, at the female bathroom... I looked around but there was nothing there.

So, my my fifth action of the night I exited the female bathroom, passed Kaede who ran up the stairs, saw Izumiko coming out from the living hall that sorta thing... So then I entered the dining hall, there was a shattered glass cup on the floor and an unrecognizable dude standing there looking out of it... While I was there, I may have stood by the kitchen entrance and flung my tea beaker at the first person I saw exit the kitchen? And... That may have been Terezi? Yeah.

Tried to poke the unrecognizable dude but he went away, so instead I went and investigated around the dining hall, and damn was I surprised when I opened a box and found pictures of an up and coming popstar called Alice Kotokawa, the chick overdosed and died though, which you all should already know since she was on the news back at home, but getting over that, there was a group photo with her and Tetsu posing with a bunch of others, however his face was kinda crossed out with an 'X'... So..."

Tawny tilts her head, letting out a soft hum as she adjusted herself so glance at those around her. 

"What's actually going on here? I saw a few stray suspects but not much to it, barely anybody has said anything yet and there are hardly enough alibis to be able to fully understand what's occurring..."

[Sara Soul]

Terezi quietly listened to all of the alibi's and investigations. At the mention of suicide, she immediately spoke up.

"If suicide is the cause of Fujimori's death, then I believe she was forced to by the killer. Having two different deaths happen at once, and they were not related to each other at all is highly unlikely. Besides, I don't believe she had a reason to kill herself other than fear of being killed next. And about her tears, she could have been crying because she did not want to do it but was threatened into doing it."

[Hosh]

"Fujimori was a total trainwreck. It wouldn't surprise me if she killed herself, she was totally the suicidal type!



"About Katie though, it smelled like vinegar in the pool, right? What if someone mixed vinegar and bleach? That would create chlorine gas, and that's totally deadly! It kinda has similar symptoms to Katie's gross leftovers too!"

[Alucard]

"My alibi is shared already by the first two to speak up. Thank you for the evening ladies."

He winks at Eva

"Now then, Investigation. The pool very highly smells of vinegar. There are drag marks on the floor going from the entrance to the pool itself. Two towels are thrown to the side as if used. On the bottom of the pool I saw something shiny. It was a silver ingot that was stuck to the floor. I couldnt move it. I believe that's everything. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to exercise the muscles in the pool."

He jumps into the pool as he slowly corrodes away. His lungs and skin burning as his muscles slowly get weaker. Knees weak arms are heavy... mom's spaghetti.

[Squidzz]

"Jesus christ"

he pauses for a moment to take in what just happened.

"so... we know the murder weapon now..."

he glances at hiyoko

"i didn't expect someone as dim-witted as yourself to know something like that."

"So. We have the weapon. Woop de f***in' doo, where the hell does that get us?"

[Nana]

"After investigating the infirmary, I noticed some of the chemicals were moved and some journals had been flipped through. While in Katie's dorm nothing had been moved. Her journal was on her table and her bed looks like she never went to bed last night. I tried to read the journal, but it's full of gibberish stuff.

I woke up in the Yard. While walking towards the Basement, I saw someone who I didn’t recognize. I went the Chemistry lab and noticed there were a lot of chemicals and equipment. After investigating the lab, I noticed a huge Periodic Table. Then Tawny came in panting and holding some teabags.

While Tawny is doing some experiments, I stare at her and avoid the tea stuff thrown by her but I decided to read more about the Periodic Table. This time you catch onto the atomic number of the Periodic Table. Some of it is similar to the room numbers. I stealthily walk towards the Altar but Hiyoko noticed me entering and hidden behind the corner of the room. Suddenly someone is shouting “Everybody! Help!”. Hiyoko peeking in at the Altar door. Once inside an unrecognizable figure being pinned down by Katie with a knife on the leg, struggling and Michael lying on the ground. Terezi’s hair was kinda scorched and a cut wound on her hand. Akise came into the Altar 

I slowly back out of the room following behind Izumiko and saw Hiyoko on the outside of the Altar. Akise was also beside me leaving the Altar. The both of us when back to the dorms. Izumiko enter the Infirmary and I went into my room and sleep.

"If there were traces of vinegar in the pool, the culprit used it to lower the pH in the body of water. So, they manipulated the acidic in the pool."
